OCEANIA CRUISES REMOVES MYANMAR FROM NAUTICA'S "ODYSSEY TO ASIA"
Miami, FL, June 9, 2008 – Oceania Cruises has revised the itinerary for Nautica’s November 18, 2008 “Odyssey to Asia”. Previously scheduled to spend three days in Yangon, Myanmar, the new itinerary now features added overnights in Dubai and Bombay, and has added port calls in Goa and Mangalore in India along with Penang and Port Klang in Malaysia.
“While Myanmar was an eagerly anticipated destination for our guests, the state of affairs after the tragic cyclone has prompted us to seek alternative destinations to replace Yangon,” stated Bob Binder, President of Oceania Cruises. The new itinerary, from Dubai onwards, highlighting the additional overnights and the added ports of call is below.
Oceania Cruises is in the process of contacting all guests and travel agents with reservations for this sailing. Updated itineraries are being distributed and shore excursions for the new ports will be added shortly. Guests and Travel Agents with questions may contact Oceania Cruises at 800-531-5658.

If the rulers of Myammar would get off their collective asses and let the foreign aid workers in to repair the damages, this would not have happened. Recall Mexico after the hurricanes two years ago? Remember the Caribbean locations that were severely damaged last year?

But problem is, the area where the horrible devastation is also happens to be the area where the staunchest opposition to the regime is. So the regime is allowing disaster, disease, and starvation to conveniently thin out the opposition, all the while blaming it on the outside world that has unceasingly begged to be allowed in to help.
