A 67-year-old woman died yesterday after falling overboard from a luxury cruise liner just before docking at Southampton. Police were alerted at 7am yesterday with reports of the woman going overboard from the Oceana cruise ship as it approached the Hampshire port.

A spokesman for Hampshire police said that the woman had not yet been identified.

He said: "Police were contacted this morning at approximately 7am in relation to a report of a person going overboard from the Oceana shortly before docking at Southampton.

    So sad!!
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me! I want people to know why I look this way. I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.

    FYI

Oceana is the name of a P & O ship and is not related to any of the Oceania Ships (Regatta, Insignia, and Nautica).

Notice the spelling difference of the two names.
