    Welcome home Yonnie & Joe!

I hope your weather at home is better than the weather in Alaska! Surprised that it was so cool this time of year.

    Will await your cruise report.

We have cruised Alaska at this time of the year several other times and never had this much bad weather. Previous cruises we were in the 70's and sunny and a couple of ports were in the 80's.

I haven't had a chance to upload any pcitures yet.

As you have said Yonnie, weather in Alaska is fickle and anything is possible. Sorry that it was so poor for you. But next time!

This was our last Alaskan cruise.

Getting back and forth from Seattle is a nightmare.

Have you thought about cruises from San Francisco or Vancouver?

Vancouver would be even worse -- 2 connections for us -- and much higher air prices -- we checked that out before.

San Francisco is no different -- still have 1 connection and a long flight.

I am already dreading our flight home from San Diego next April. We have to 1 1/4 hours between connections in Phoenix. If we fly home through Philadelphia -- 45 minutes and they will not guarantee that there will be a wheelchair there for me -- Philly is terrible on this. We just barely made our flight last through Philly and we had 1 hour. UsAirways.

Looked at Delta -- another nightmare.

American wants us to go through Dallas -- price is $8000 for first class -- and no meals on either flight.

Gasp! Yonnie, I am clutching at straws here, but is there any way for you to get to a connecting point then grabbing Virgin or Jet Blue?
