Thread: Starbucks is now OPEN!

Starbucks is now open on Oasis! Their grand opening was the week of November 12th.

Hum, wonder if they will take the Starbuck card or just the room key?

I wasn't aware their Starbucks wasn't open on the Oasis - thanks for the update. We did the Allure in January and their Starbucks was open and doing the usual good business. We're not into Starbucks, but others told us it was the same as others on land.

You have to use your room key.

On Oasis Starbucks is located in the walkway on Deck 5 ... very close to Boleros and On Air Lounge.

Seems when Allure was built, they had decided to go with Starbucks. It's taken a little while to get it on Oasis.

In Bolero's we met the woman who flew in to do the training the week before and was staying on board for the week of the Grand Opening in case there were any kinks. She told us the employees were great and it was the easiest training she'd ever done.

I don't drink coffee and DH isn't overly fond of Starbucks so we never had anything from there but it seem to stay busy.

I am not a fan of Starbucks regular coffee, but I do like the frappuccino's and cappuccino's. We are both excited to give it a try during our sailing Jan the 7th.

I wonder if they had a contract with the old place, really should not take long to change it from one to the other. Sign, change coffee and supplies. (not counting the training).

So - how was the Oasis? Who was the CD?

Amy Fickert was the CD. We never had any direct contact with her but there was lots planned for us to do.

We totally enjoy Oasis. Norman was following us in the Observation so I posted some comments there beginning with Post #55:
