We talked about doing a B2B on the Allure but not sure how that would work out with our laundry situation. Really don't want to pack 15 days worth of clothes. That's why we prefer Princess with their self-serve laundry rooms.

I would love love love to do a b2b on Allure!

They do have that bag of laundry deal halfway thru the cruise, I think it was $25??? We also had a coupon for it too, but didn't need to send anything out. Maybe you could find a laundromat close by the port on turn around day?

We thought about finding a nearby laundromat. We thought that $25 just to wash a small bag of socks and undies was kind of steep.

Wow 3 pages already and we're still on the first day! lol!

So after the sailaway party we got ready for dinner. We had anytime dining, but the only reservations I could get for all of us was for 5:45 pm. We were seated promptly and had a nice table near the entrance to the dining room but at the railing, so we looked down on the two dining rooms below us, and had a nice view of the stage, captains table and the big chandelier. We decided to keep this table for the remainder of the cruise as we also had great waitstaff.

We had prime rib for dinner, which was very good, and I tried a chilled watermelon soup, which was very good.

I guess, I forgot to take a picture of the prime rib, I must have been hungry!

    Can't forget dessert though!

After dinner we had the Oasis of Dreams water show booked at 8:30 pm, so we had time for quick stroll thru central park and the Royal promenade.

Giovann's in Central park at night, very pretty!

Out for a stroll in the park.......

Off to the water show. They scan your sea pass card at the entrance to make sure you have a reservation. We found seats near the back, as we did not want to be in the splash zone. But all the seats seem to have a good view.

Our cruise director, Richard Spacey. He was soooooooooo funny! Really liked him, he did a terrific job!

Great show! Combination of dance, diving, acrobats and water ballet.

    Sunday Day 2 Sea day

We woke pretty early, not sure why, just habit I guess. I had an appointment at the nail salon this morning, so I got ready and headed out..........the spa, gym and salon, are on deck 5 and 6 all the way in the front of the ship...............it was quite a trek from our cabin in the back! I was a bit early so I stopped to check out the Diamond lounge and see what they had to offer.
They had a nice continental breakfast laid out. I had time to have a latte before my appointment.

This is Allan the Diamond concierge....very nice man. We enjoyed talking with him.

View of the Royal promenade from the Diamond lounge. I guess everyone is sleeping in, it's pretty quiet down there.

    Look honey! We have neighbors!

Great views, did you get much of a breeze?
