    Boardwalk facing cabins. Noisy??

I just watched a video on the Oasis website featuring the Boardwalk area (A Royal Experience: Inside the Magnificent Promenade). While this area looks wonderful and a fun place to spend a morning or afternoon at sea, it seemed very noisy. The cabin doors are good a filter out sound but is it too noisy to sleep in? What about hanging out on your balcony?

Not sure, but I believe it would be quiet inside. Do they have balconies?? If they do I would expect noise out there
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me! I want people to know why I look this way. I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.

It will be interesting to hear from someone that has sailed in one.

I don't know what kind of cabin he has, but AdmiralTye is onboard right now. Maybe he will have an idea of the noise level when he gets back.

The noise level is quite high and goes well into the night. If I were to book one of those I would pick a higher deck. I would be more inclined to do a balcony overlooking Central Park.

When I saw they had balconies facing inside I thought that was crazy, I want privacy and solitude when I take a balcony, facing the ocean. But they have an outdoor theater and I could see taking a balcony facing the theater and watching shows from the balcony.

Thanks Reggie. It's helpful to know the noise runs late for those who like to turn in early.

If I couldn't have an ocean view balcony, one overlooking Central Park seems tranquil.

Those aft cabins facing the theater look really inviting, don't they? But they are SO expensive!
