    If I am seeing it right, the balconies extend beyond the hull.

    Not quit sure what you mean there.


    Do you mean the balcony suites (Aqua Suites ) in the aft ?

    On the sides of the ship it appears that the balconies extend beyond the hull below them. Normally balconies are even with the exterior hull or set back.

    Yes the balconies do extend out the side of the vessel, in two parts they extend even further. I have highlighted these in the image below

    Note that you cannot even see the small funnels stacks in the view above. There some lower stacks



    In fact they have incorporated a unquie design in these to pass under bridges.
