Yes, I think she must have done, she did not stay long, just a quick visit.

The building went much better than I thought! However she's still not finished, still a lot of work to do. I was building for over 6 hours in the end.

Harry, that's quite the project you've taken on!

I'm loving the Captain's daily video blogs. Showed DH the video of the Oasis going under the bridge, he was fascinated. Being and engineer he loved hearing all the technical details. And of course, the awe of passing through with so little room.

I liked the video on oasisoftheseas.com, you could hear everyone cheering.

Knowing the whole world is watching this ship on her voyage across the Atlantic makes the whole thing even more exciting.

These videos and photos are awesome!

Just about 70 days away! Made final payments last night.

Imagine what would have happened if someone forgot to carry over a negative sign? LOL

You see Dan, that's why I am not an engineer. It would be me that messed up and was responsible for all the damage.

Sounds like Oasis is having a bumpy ride
Video: Oasis of the Seas faces severe weather - USATODAY.com

As a Cunarder, I had to laugh when the Captain said they were down to 6 knots. QM2 is also on the North Atlantic, I know which ship I would rather be on.

Funny story. Here outside Dallas a truck was going under a low bridge. The driver thought he was in good shape, according to the sign he had a full six inches of clearance. Nope, he scraped the top of the truck and got wedged under the bridge. The county was trying to charge him for the damage and the obstruction of traffic. A little bit of measurement showed the sign was wrong. Clearance was 9 inches less than the sign indicated. A bit of additional research discovered that the road was recently resurfaced and the new layer of tar was exactly 9 inches thick.

Stephen, the QM2 is a beautiful graceful ocean liner designed for fast passage through wind and water. The Oasis, on the other hand, has the aerodynamics of a billboard.
