I know it's kinda early, but........who's going with a group of 8 from from the NCL Pearl from last February!?!?!?!?!?

MrTractor and the Bronzed Goddess...........will be on the Sun for the 3rd time........

Hi mrtractor!

I am thinking of booking on the Sun because it calls at Roatan, Honduras. However, I've not sailed NCL before. So, I am going to follow your roll call to see what I can learn.

Hope this thread gets lots of activity soon!

Canarymoon, join us on the Sun. We've got a group of eight that met on the Pearl back in February, with RustyB as the defacto ring leader (using a different alias). It's a fun group. You won't be disappointed, especially if you like karaoke. Rusty is quite a performer.

I think you've seen Rusty's posts live from the Dawn. NCL's freestyle is great for some, others aren't so enamored. We love the lack of structure and the ability to choose different restaurants, even if it costs a little more for some of them. And I hate neckties.

The crews on our NCL trips have been great, friendly and helpful. We haven't been on the Sun, but our leader has and says it's a great boat. And I remember reading on another site that the staff loves to be posted to the Sun, something to do with the ship's layout that makes a lot of the jobs easier.

If you have any questions, just ask. We don't frequent this board as much as another, but we'll check in from time to time.

Don't worry about taking the plunge, you'll have fun on the Sun.

I may well be sailing the Sun sometime in the next year or so.

Unfortunately, Jan 20-Feb 10 of any year is out for me, due to business constraints. I am usualy hand over fist during that short time period. (This is not something that can be rescheduled.)

Planersedge, any chance you'll join us in February? Rusty says you'd add to the fun. I think he said you're on their Princess cruise, but that's a full three months before the Sun. You know you'll want to ship out again by Feb.

Sorry, February is way too early from a November cruise. Jerry always goes at this time of year because it precedes his busiest time of the year for peddling tractors. Our Spring cruise is usually in April or May. Next years is April 4 on the Pearl.

We are NOT on the Princess cruise in November. Like Jerry last year, we are celebrating our 25th anniversary and not joining the FOMT festivities in defference to a little quiet time for just us. We will be on the Dawn's 2 week reposition cruise out of NY. We will be getting in to Miami the day after FOMT departs San Juan.

Someday we will meet and you will discover that I am not nearly as crazy as some people make me out to be.
