Here's a general question -
Are the pools on NCL ships filled with fresh water, or sea water?

They are filled with filtered sea water every morning. The filtering takes a little of the salt away and any other "stuff" that may be floating in it.

If I don't know the answer I'm fairly certain I can find it.

PE: too bad about Feb. Hope some day to have the chance to meet ya.

Not sure how I got the November trip confused. Maybe because he keeps plying us with invitations and/or name calling (are ya yella?) to get us to join them. And we know about Tractor time. No March cruises for T.

As I recall, didn't I hear you had something to do with the not-so-famous FOMT plaque?

Count us in

Mrs.Airport and myself have booked the Feb 2 cruise on the Sun. First time on NCL, although we have 6 cruises behind us - all Princess.

So far I don't care for the lack of laundry facilities. Those are very handy at sea - cuts down on the amount of baggage you have to lug along. The FreeStyling sounds like something we might like.

Looking forward to meeting everyone onboard.

Welcome Mr. and Mrs. Airport. Interesting names. Glad to have you coming along with us.

Don't worry too much about the laundry. We were on the Pearl in Feb. and it was nice to have the laundry, but it was a pain to waste an hour or two doing it, when there are better things to do. And they usually have a special midway thru the cruise where it's one fixed price to clean whatever you can stuff in a bag they leave in your room.

If you like a casual, laidback approach to cruising, you'll like NCL. It takes a little getting used to, especially making reservations for the extra restaurants, but it's pretty easy. Or just eat in the main dining room with or without reservations. And it helps cut down on the amount of baggage, since you can leave most of the dressy clothes behind.

Now, THERE's something I really like! Sometimes, these little things can really add up. I've never seen a special like this on RCL.
