WTG! If you see an old guy with a gray beard wearing a Packer hat and drinking and MGD that just might be me! If you are cruising next year maybe you can join our group! You need to be part of the group to be part of the action. The players are contractually forbidden to sign autographs for anyone not in the group. However, last year someone paid an extra fee to get in on the activities and meet the players. I think it was $200 each which is what we pay from the beginning. Anyhoo this year we are cruising with Lynn Dickey, Jordy Nelson and James Jones. For the extra you get a Welcome cocktail (can you say that on this board?) with the players which includes free food and drinks, an autograph session and they even provide the color pics for you, a Q&A session with the players and a farewell cocktail party which also includes free food and drinks. If this pops your cork I can talk to the TA for you and give you the info to contact her. This will be our 8th cruise with Packer players.

Another Cheesehead here. The first NFL game I ever went to was the Ice Bowl. I grew up in Reedsburg (near the Dells).

This sounds like a fun cruise. Is it always this time of year?

Wow, a cruise with the Packers. Sounds like a great vacation. I hope you have an awesome time.
We are from Oconomowoc. We have to sail at Easter because I am a teacher and they don't give us days off other than the regular vacations. Not that I am complaining. A guaranteed week off at Easter is just fine with me.

Let us know how you liked the Star. This is our first cruise with NCL and I hope we like the freestyle thing. I am afraid that we will miss getting to know our waiter in the dining room and the special service they gave us. The different dining options may offset that. I look forward to your trip report when you get back.

This will be our 8th cruise with Packer players, the 4th on NCL. They did an upgrade last summer called Freestyle 2.0 so we will see how that goes. Starts out with a glass of champaign when you board so it can't be too bad. When Smitty gets back from his cruise, he has been on the Star and can tell you whatever you might want to know. I have read some really good reviews about it though.

You are going on the Star too? When is your cruise? You can ask to have the same waiter and table every night if you would like.
