I don't think you can beat the price for a weekend cruise....We took 2 of our daughters to Vancouver for a weekend and by the time we paid for meals, hotel, parking and entertainment, we could have had a 2/3 day cruise for the same price and had fantastic service and all the fun that comes with a cruise.
This caostal we are going with our neighbours who have never cruised before, I'm sure they are in for a pleasant surprise, eh?
I couldn't have put this together better. It looks like I will be sailing from LA to Vancouver then walking cross pier to Board Mercury for my Alaska cruise May 4. Sort of a back to back, just on different ships.
Prices on this cruise start at under $230 per person, which includes all port charges and taxes.

We just booked this cruise...and also made our final payment on the connecting Alaska cruise today. I ALSO leave on the "Ladies only Cruise" next week. I think that should hold me for a while.

Poor Kathy will be so sick of cruising, she may never want to cruise again.

I was planning on flying to Seattle, doing QuickCoach to Vancouver and spending 1 night there before the cruise. I had budgeted about $300 per person for that and for about the same price, I have a nice balcony cabin on a 3 night cruise. The $300 didn't include food and entertainment which is included on the cruise and we get 2 extra nights. If at all possible I avoid flying if I can. Seemed like a no brainer to me.
I just love having newbie cruisers traveling with me. The look of wonder as we approach the ship is priceless.
