Norwegian Cruise Line’s Norwegian Spirit – which tomorrow launches year-round service from New York – will join Norwegian Dawn in calls to Bermuda for the 2006 summer season. Norwegian Spirit’s new eight-day itinerary will feature a day-long call in Bermuda, an overnight in St. Thomas and a visit to Tortola. The itinerary begins May 20 and runs through the Sept. 30 departure. Fares start at $699 per person.

Norwegian Spirit will alternate this route with its scheduled six-day Bahamas and Florida itinerary calling in Port Canaveral, Nassau and Great Stirrup Cay.

After its new Eastern Caribbean/Bermuda season, Norwegian Spirit will commence its published 10- and 11-day Southern Caribbean cruises.

On Friday, the 1,966-passenger Norwegian Spirit joins Norwegian Dawn in its year-round New York deployment with alternating 10- and 11-day cruises to the Southern Caribbean. The 10-day route includes St. Thomas, Antigua, Barbados, St. Maarten and Tortola. The 11-day program visits St. Thomas, Antigua, Barbados, Grenada, Dominica and Tortola. These itineraries are offered through February.

On Feb. 19 through the May 7 cruise, the ship operates a seven-day Bahamas and Florida itinerary from New York to Port Canaveral, Miami, Nassau and Great Stirrup Cay.
