Ooops! Sorry I'm tardy! Right about now your should be having a fantastic cruise on NCL Spirit!
Our ports next year will be NY, Halifax, St. John NB, Martha's Vineyard and NY. It's only a 6-day cruise.
What ports did you visit? Please tell me all about it.
We just got home today from another splendid cruise. We left from NY and stopped in St Thomas, Barbadoes, Antigua, Grenada, Dominica and Tortola. We really enjoyed all the ports but mainly just went to the beaches and did some shopping.
The ship is gorgeous and kept really clean. I also thought this was one of the friendliest crews.
The buffet food wasn't very impressive.......my main complaint was that the food was lukewarm at best and almost cold at worst. Meats tended to be way overcooked and dried out. The exception to that was the pasta, stir-fry and omelette stations where you could get items cooked hot and fresh.
The main dining rooms were gorgeous but menus seemed limited to me. Le Bistro was really nice and a good buy for only $7.50 pp if you ate early.
The beir garten was fun and great for hamburgers and fries cooked up fresh.
The musicians were great.....some of the best I've heard!
Any questions in particular, ask away....... my brain is still in a fog from so many days off

That's SO important, don't you think? Especially a friendly crew. I believe the good morale and friendliness starts with the Captain and his immediate crew. That really sounds good.
Have heard others say the food on NCL is less that great. Good idea there eating the freshly grilled burgers and the fresh omelets and pasta. We figured we would take advantage of the early dining too. That is such a low price!
Glad you had such a good time. If you think of anything else please come back and post.
One question. How is the coffee? Is it strong enough to kill you?
And if you used room service, how was that?

I don't drink coffee but my husband drinks lots and said it was awful in the buffet. It was the first time I'd ever seen him put cream in his coffee if that tells you anything LOL. The good thing is that there's a coffee maker in the cabins and they give you regular and decaf filter packets. My husband preferred drinking that when he wanted coffee.
Room service was quick Here's a pic of what they brought us on our first sea day...including the flowers, which was a nice touch....
Linda-
That photo makes the food look so delicious!! My mouth is watering already!
Good to know about the coffee. So many of the cruiselines ruin coffee. But I am amazed that there is a coffee pot in the cabin. I've never seen that before. Were you in a suite or is that true of all the rooms?
I have a heating coil and make my own coffee in my room anyway, but I would much rather brew it.
TIA!

All the cabins have the coffee maker and it's a cute little 4 cup one. Nice touch and my husband sure appreciated not having to wait for room service in the morning.
