Pearl offers stunning array of restaurant venues

The biggest culinary fan aboard Norwegian Pearl may also be the most disappointed passenger on disembarkation day.
With 12 restaurants and 11 bars and lounges to choose from, it’s next to impossible to sample all of the ship’s culinary venues on a typical, seven-day Caribbean voyage.

...and you have the same exact options on the Jewel, Jade and Gem. There are also very similar options on the rest of the ships in the NCL fleet. NCL has the most dining options of any mainstream cruise line.

Heck, if can't hit all the dining venues, you are not trying. There is breakfast, brunch, lunch, afternoon, dinner, second dinner, late night snack. And that does not include all the other opportunities during the rest of the day.

    Minus exercise time, of course.

Can recommend Le Bistro. Tried it on the Gem and it was lovely. Very attentive staff. Worth the surcharge.

I have found that overall, the surcharges are well worth it on other ships. Seems to be true of the Gem, too.

The only one I might disagree with you on this is the Tex/Mex venues. If they cut the price in half it might be worth it. But, I have never really been impressed with the food here.

Interesting. Tex-Mex is generally cheap to prepare and should not cost an arm and a leg. The assembly is also quite easy.

Of course, I might be jaded living in Texas but compare the price of land based Tex-Mex places to other restaurants - both high quality and fast food.
