Anyone else going? The Pearl is an awfully big ship for only 6 passengers. We are Kent and Janet and we are sailing with Kent's folks, Bill and Josie and our two grown sons, Nick and Zack. This is a first cruise for Kent, Zack and myself. Nick, as well as Bill and Josie have sailed before. I've done a lot of research on the ship and it's a beauty for sure. I'm so excited!!
Hi PE, thanks for the heads up but I have to wonder why there wouldn't be many NCL fans here? This will be our first cruise and I'm new to the cruise boards so forgive me if I am naive.
Oh! And to answer your question, yes I did check at CC but I hear so many bad things about that place I'm scared to even post now.
This board was started by a bunch of CC refugees. I believe that they were mostly RCI and Celebrity cruisers. That's probably why there are so few NCLers. But more and more are showing up all of time.
I was not recommending CC in general. I was only suggesting that you checkout the roll call area for your cruise. That is about the only area that does not get seriously censored.
Janet, I think PE was stating that since there are so few NCL fans here at this point, that another board might have more of a roll call for you to post on.

We are attracting new members here everyday and there are sure to be more NCL fans come on board.

The Pearl, (I think) is the newest NCL ship that actually has bowling lanes onboard. I am really intrigued by this, and will be quite interested to hear if you get to try it, and how it felt to bowl while sailing - especially if any 'wave action' has a noticable affect on the 'pin action.'
