I was fortunate to be able to spend 2 nights aboard her on one of two mini-cruises prior to her maiden voyage on Aug 10th 2005.

First impressions of the ship are excellent. She is bright and cheerful, with a beautiful blend of vibrant colours and wood veneers. She has no enormous atrium or glass lifts, she is very much in the vein of the grand old ladies of the sea, several of her public areas have been modelled on the transatlantic liners of the past.

The cabin's are spacious and airy. The cabin I was in was G8068, an obstructed view with the tenders outside, but this did not ruin the amount of light into the cabin or indeed spoil the view outside.

The pool area is superb, with a large waterslide into the main pool and a waterfall into the other. There are 4 hot tubs in the main pool area.
