    Well, it's easier to raise a group when everyone is local and there is no travel, no airfare and no hotel stays. That makes for quite a discount.

    We had a luncheon on the Jewel today, plus a tour of the entire ship conducted by NCL.It is very impressive, even after being on the newer Pearl.

    You're right.I sure am. Trying to decide what we're going to do in Semana and Tortola. I read your Semana review. I wouldn't get off the ship, except that it is our first port stop.

    i know what you mean, you sort of feel obliged to get off. if you do decide to get off turn left when you hit the quayside, and walk about 400 yards and you'll see the bahia princepe-mar. you cant miss it, it looks the only set of good buildings on the front. beers are $3 and allthough we didn't have any the food looked good as well. before you get to this there is a straw market (sort of) on the seaward side of the road. we did buy some vanilla there both black and white two for $5
