excursions

Hi

I've never been cruising before and wondered if we are better going on the ships excursions or organise something ourselves. We are travelling to : Casablanca, Agadir, Las Palmas, Funchal and Malaga.

That would depend on the amount of time you are in port. If you plan your own outing and are late getting back to the ship they will not wait for you. But, if you are on a ships excursion and are running lat the ship will wait for you to return.

That being said the ships excursions are usually very expensive compared to venturing out on your own. My wife and I rarely use the ships excursions unless it is something that we cannot do on our own but really want to do.

If you venture out on your own you just need to plan carefully and keep an eye on your watch.

If I don't know the answer I'm fairly certain I can find it.
