Shoreguy I read all your posts. I got a brochure on the Gem yesterday, looks like a beauty. I hope she does as well as the Pearl did on her TA crossing. No hurricanes this time. I don;t mean to horn in on your roll call. There's no one but me on my roll call, thats pretty fun.
Stop in anytime - I think what we need here is one roll call for everyone sailing on the Gem.
I did not plan on this cruise but the fares dropped and the year has been too busy. I have 30 vacations days to use or lose this year.

It seems silly to do the same untested ship so many times but there are two reasons. First I have friends I have cruised with before on each sailing and more important with Klaus as the HD any ship is a great ship to be on.
Slot and Shore, since we don't have too many NCL'ers here YET, why don't you guys/gals start a roll call for all NCL sailings? What I mean is, one roll call for all of you that are sailing on NCL at any time. Of course, keep your own individual roll calls, but if you had one bigger one that you all could converse on, maybe it would be beneficial to all of you. Actually, I'm just thinking this out loud and now maybe it sounds stupid. Ah well, I typed it, and you are reading it.

Probably not a bad idea, bc of the NCL numbers. I started a roll call when I joined this board and I am still the only one there. WE have to figure out a way to get more NCL'ers here.
I am not exclusive to NCL, I sail other lines, but I do have a certain fondness for NCL. In fact if I did not cancel my TA on the Consellation, That would have been the cruise to put me into Diamond status. I should be so lucky on NCL. I do think that I may pick up the Gem in NY, I don;t have to fly, so its a relatively inexpensive trip for me.
Shoreguy and PE are the most knowledgeable people when it comes to NCL.

I think the NCL Umbrella Roll Call is a good idea. Maybe after you pick up a few more NCLers', you could do it by ship instead of sail date.

I think one roll call board is more then enough for NCL. Remember the old slow days on CC when all NCL posts including rolls were on one board. It was still that way when you where planning the ill fated Norway cruise. If I remeber right you all moved to an RCCL cruise and that roll call got sent to the roll call caves.
It was fun and maybe we can do the same here and build a little traffic. Roll calls on the main board. Everyone welcome to chime in on every roll call. Lots of great info was exchanged that way.
