Dawn 3/30/08

Hi there, we're a little more than two months away and looking for others on this sailing. My DH and I, my 9 year old son and almost 13 year old daughter are in one cabin for the first time! Last time my Mom came along so we could spread out a little more!
Any one else going with us?

We're the only ones on this ship?!

I'ts a BIG BIG ship for just the four of us!!! Guess we'll get lots of attention from the crew!!
Started the diet and exercise thing, too little too late, but I'm too cheap to buy new clothes!

Hello...hello...hello...hello...

Well, I wont' have to ask what you are wearing so I can find you in this crowded room! :-)

I thought I would come over and keep you company for a while. Maybe watch your kids while you go out for a little dinner with your DH.

Did you plan on decorating your door? There is a thread on Helping CLF about a door sign for the CLF group. I was tempted to do it. It would also make it a bit easier for the kids to find the rooms. More of an issue with us since our kid group goes from18 months to 5 years.

Oh, let me know if the doors are magnetic. I thought I saw someone post a pic of their door and it had a note pad on it. That might be a better idea for communicating with your kids. In theory, ours won't be without an adult.

I should send you a picture of myself so I can really go on the cruise with you!

Why, no, I didn't sleep much last night. What made you think of that?? :-) Yup, I'm loopy.

Sorry, TB, didn't see you in the crowd!!

Put on shorts yesterday that were a bit snug in the fall, now they're a teeny bit loose!!! Yeah, me!!

What did you decide to do about the cabin thing? I'm still waiting to see what hubby's annual bonus was, his company's accounting dept stinks!! Come on, it's Feb for God's sake!!

Have to take daughter shopping for cruise clothes soon. She's almost 13 and suddenly every time I look at her, she's taller!! Son could wear a paper bag, he really doesn't care about clothes.

How's the little guy? better?

Going to the dr today for a checkup, need to remember to ask for patches. Never know how I'm going to react to motion.

Hope you're better rested, M

I'm still working on getting back into some clothing. Don't know how close I will get by cruise time. It's so hard making toddler food like grilled cheese and not taking a little nibble. :-(

We're doing much better, thank you. Well, as good as we can do in the winter with the toddler bringing home all sorts of kid-diseases from school.

Ya, know, I think I will finish this post later. My son is having a great time playing trains and I think I will join him!

Had quite the scare last week, Mom had a mild stroke while cooking breakfast and threw boiling hot cereal all over herself. After 5 days in the hospital burn unit, she's home and healing slowly. Thank God she's doing so well.

So sorry to hear about your mom. Something similar happened to my MIL with out the hot cereal. I'm guessing she's on cumadin (sp)?

Yes, she came home on blood thinners. Very scary... very happy she's home. She came along on our last cruise with the kids, it was really nice having her along, and she had a great time.

On to lighter topics.

You have more time than I do to fit into those cruise clothes!! I have a month and a half! I'm shopping for that new camera, any specific pix you'd like to see?
