Select your time for departure and relax and wait to be called. Only those leaving carrying their own luggage had super long lines getting off ship and at customs. If you aren't in a rush its easy. Once took excursion thru ship at New orleans and we were first off ship with buses right there to take our luggage and drop us off at airport after tour. That was the easiest and best disembarkation

I think it is about the most passenger friendly process I have experienced in the industry. My opinion anyway, your wave height may vary.

Marked OTHER. At one time we cruised on NCL fairly often but haven't done so recently. Happy to hear their disembarkment process has changed for the better!

As much as we hate to leave a cruise ship, NCL debarkation has been easy and not rushed ever. This has been our experience in 9 NCL cruises. Also, if you are in a suite you have an escort off the ship at designated times and there is no lines to wait in. We usually have breakfast in Cagney's and then meet the concierge for our departure.
