How would you rate the Specialty restaurants on NCL??

Le Bistro is absolutely superb. Haven't tried the orientals cuisine ones as I am not keen on oriental food anyway.

Tried all 3 on the Sky on our first cruise. Bistro was excellent, and the Italian restaurant (can't remember the name) was as good if not better. The Oriental cuisine one wasn't as good IMO, but DW liked it.

I think that the specialty restaurants vary quite a bit from ship to ship. Some remain very constant. I did not like the Italian restaurant on the Sun nor on the Dawn. I did like it on the Star and on the Jewel. I thought that the Steakhouse on the Jewel is far superior to any on the other NCL ships I have been on. LeBistro has been consistanly good food on every NCL ship I have been on.

The Tempanaki will depend a lot of the tableside presentation. The food is the same but it is the show that makes the meal. My first time at the tempanaki was on the Sun and the cook didn't do any tricks at all, just cooked the food. In August on the Jewel the cook did a great job.

I liked the Oriental restaurant on the Jewel better than the others also.

The hamburgers, potato skins, and chicken wings at the Blue Lagoon on the Dawn, Star and Jewel are great.
