Smile ncl dawn to Bermuda in October

Hello all I am hoping someone might be able to answer a question and Please don't get me wrong but I was wondering if the cruising on NCL Dawn in october has alot of children on it Don't get me wrong I love Kids ( I have Three of my own) and 2 Grandchildren who i Cherish But My husband and I are in our 50's and 60's and have our own business so we are always working and Don't get much time without the Kids to just relax we were looking for a more mature atmosphere. We went on our 1st cruise in june of 2008 on Carnival and it was so pack with Children they had to close all the adult swimming area and use it so the Kids could swim the Adults hung around the kiddie pool. The Kids were running thru the halls etc. just hoping this cruise is a little more of a mature group
Thanks

Hi mcf,

I have never sailed on NCL. I'm guessing this cruise leaves out of NY since you only mentioned Bermuda as the port of call? If so, I would think that most of the "local" kids who live within driving distance of the port would be in school so there would probably be less onboard the ship than you had in June 2008.

MCF, October is usually a school month, so there should be a lot less kids on any cruise.

I know that California public schools get paid by the state based on daily attendance. So the school districts here make it very difficult for parents to take out their kids for vacations (some require a doctor's note for an extended absence). If the east coast schools are the same way, I would doubt there would be too many kids on your cruise in October. Exceptions may be homeschooled kids.
