Norwegian Cruise Line is closely monitoring the path of all tropical storms in the Atlantic as the safety and security of our guests and crew is of the utmost importance.
Because of the current expected path of Tropical Depression Ana, forecasted to pass near the islands of the Bahamas this week, Norwegian has changed the port of call order for Norwegian Sky's four-day Bahamas sailing, that departed Miami on August 17, 2009. Norwegian Sky is first calling on Great Stirrup Cay (Norwegian's private island), followed by Nassau and Grand Bahama Island, Bahamas.
In addition, we are closely tracking the current path and timing of Hurricane Bill which is expected to pass near Bermuda later this week and could affect the current itineraries of Norwegian Dawn and Norwegian Majesty. At this time, we do not anticipate any changes to the departures of the following Bermuda cruises this weekend: Norwegian Spirit from Boston on August 21; Norwegian Majesty from Baltimore on August 23; and Norwegian Dawn from New York on August 23.
We will continue to closely monitor the weather conditions and update this information as necessary.
