NO PEPSI FOR YOU! if you booked a cruise on ncl, and got a promo deal you cannot get the pepsi promo. Only one deal is allowed,as, i was told. I booked a cruise for oct./09 in May/09. I was told by the agent my room was a promo room, which means, i cannot get the pepsi promo. I WILL NEVER BOOK ANOTHER CRUISE ON NCL. OR FROM THIS AGENT.

I'm totally confused. I see you are upset because you can't get the "pepsi promo" but that doesn't help me understand, since I have no idea what Pepsi Promo is!
Can you tell the rest of us: What's a pepsi promo?

The Pepsi promo is you get 2 soda packages. It's basically for new cruisers to NCL...Like me since I was able to apply it to my cruise. You cannot combine two promotions.

The promo code is PGPOP.
Now we understand! Thanks for the explanation.
Most cruise lines do not allow promos to be combined, so this is not an unusual occurance.
I suspect the room promo was more valuable than the Pepsi promo.
I hope the OP understands that you cannot take advantage of every promo available on each cruise---you need to pick and choose what is most advantageous for you.

It's a complimentary Summer Promo soda package from NCL, as you mentioned, 2 soda packages, 1 each per person, you get a free cannister and a Pepsi sticker is placed on your NCL Key Card. The promo runs up to Oct. 15th 2009. It can be withdrawn sooner if NCL wishes to do so. The Promo code you mentioned is correct.

If a person had a pepsi with lunch and dinner, and maybe two more during the day - that's four a day. I am guessing that would be about the average consumption of a soda drinker, maybe some people might have a few more.
Let's bunp it up and say someone drinks six a day. At home that would be about $3.00 + change for a six pack, but a cruise ship charges inflated prices, and I bet each soda is between $2.00 - $3.00. And so that six pack would be about $12.00 - $18.00 onboard. Which means on a 7 day cruise you're drinking $ 80 - $ 126.00 worth....approx...naturally it depends on how many you drink and what they charge. But we can safely say that on average a drink card for a 7 day cruise is worth approx $100.
This sort of puts things in perspective!
