took the upgrade- now second guessing

Alaska bound (inside passage) in June on the Norwegian Sun. We had a wonderful balcony stateroom on the Fjord deck, sandwiched between two passenger decks. Long story short, our price was reduced 3X..... we were offered mini suite #1214 on the pool deck. we took it, because of the larger balcony and larger room.
I am mostly concerned about the business and the noise. because:

    1) on an open deck.
    2) two rooms away from the beauty salon
    3) directly under the kiddies pool

Any thoughts to make me feel better? Or not?

You are going to love the mini's on the Sun. They are very convenient to the pool, the buffet and the Great Outdoors.

You will not have any problems being under the kid's pool. The pool its self is on a bit of raised deck area so there will more "deck" space above your cabin ceiling. Besides the little dickens are not out there very early or stay very late.

I don't know what your concern about the beauty salon might be. But, if it is smells don't worry. We have been in mini's twice and never smelled anything from the beauty salon.

Below is a link to my webshots with a few picture of the Sun's mini suite.

If you have any more questions please feel free to ask. The Sun is our favorite (still active) ship in the NCL fleet.

If I don't know the answer I'm fairly certain I can find it.

Thanks very much, John. With that many NCL cruises under your lifejacket, I consider you a "Pro" and you have made me feel a whole lot better. I was actually concerned about a lot of traffic,/noise people wise. I mean, I really had no idea what to expect. Thanks you SO mucch for your information.

John is a whiz on NCL. It's good to have someone onboard with his knowledge.
