Thread: Norwegian Jewel

I'm interested in anyone's experience thus far cruising or booking on the Norwegian Jewel. Our goal was to take a fall cruise to Canada from NYC, but our daughter is expecting her first child in October, so we then targeted early November. Shortly after booking our cruise for Nov. 13th, our travelling companions were forced to cancel, so we did as well, and tried for September 18th. Unfortunately it was already full, so we are now on hold. We may shoot for a Western Caribbean out of Miami in early 2006.

We are jealous of anyone who sails early, as we are familiar with many of the key staff members who will be aboard, to help make the early voyages as successful as possible. Hotel Director Klaus Lugmaier is among the best, and we wish him and all his passengers the best. Accordingly I would be interested to hear who some of the early passengers' favorite staff people are.

WE are booked on Norwegian Jewel Sept 18-29 on Canada New England .
