We met on the Dawn 2-day back in October. She and her sister attended the meet and greet. They both are such wonderful people. I am looking forward to seeing her again.

I would love to meet Coka. But, it will probably never happen. She only sails when kids are out of school and I avoid those times like the plague.

My DW and I both work in education so it is peak time cruising for us as well.

You almost met Coka. We were getting off othe the Dawn last October and ou were getting on. That was close and you probably were on the pier at the same time as we were.

If I would have know beforehand I would have tried to arrange a meeting. I found out afterwards that she was on the that 2 nighter. We almost booked the 2 nighter, but Rummies vacation allotment was getting a little thin.

I hope that your cruise is great.

We just got back from our weekend away on the Dream. It was a good weekend away. I will post more about it later. The Dream is an interesting ship.

Long night for those onboard as the Dawn circled off AC. From the Asbury Park Press this morning

ATLANTIC CITY — The Coast Guard is searching for a 46-year-old female passenger of the cruise ship Norwegian Dawn after it was reported she fell overboard approximately 45-miles northeast of Atlantic City, Sunday night.

Coast Guard Air Station Atlantic City launched two HH-65 Dolphin helicopter crews at 3:50 a.m., and arrived on-scene at about 4:18 a.m. The crews conducted search patterns for two hours before returning to base due to inclement weather.

that news spread through the Spirit rather quickly. Too bad she had such bad judgement so early into her cruise.

I feel badly for her family.
