Thread: Sailing NCL Star next week-a few questions

My husband and I are sailing on the Star next week and have a few questions.

• Does anyone know how the ship time compares to local time in Puerto Vallarta?
• Is there somewhere on board to purchase bottled water? If so, any idea of the cost?
• Any recommendations for tranportation back to the LAX airport (other than a taxi)?

You can buy water at any store in town. Typically cost $1.00 -$1.50 for a 20 OZ. The easiest way to LAX is to take the shuttle to the airport. $20.00 per person. Easy, no lines to wait in for a cab. If there are other ships in port, NCL is usually last, because it gets docked later than the other ships. The cabs will be at the other ships first.

There's several shuttle services. Super shuttle is probably the most known (supershuttle.com). I used coolrides.com for our last cruise. There's also redvans.com (I think that's the website).

I think you were on the Star when we were on her in March 2006 (Mar 1 - 9).
