We have been on two other Norwegian Ships over the years the last being the Majesty. The food was great and the entertainment was decent but the rooms were tight and in bad weather there really was few areas of the ship to relax. Does anyone have experiences on the Jewel, and if so how was food, balcony rooms and public areas? Was your overall experience a good one?

Yes, the Majesty is a bit crowded and outdated.

I have been on the Jewel twice. It is much better designed than the Majesty for its' number of passengers. There are many more places to relax in out of the weather. The Jewel also has many more dining option than the Majesty.
