Wow! We would be interested in a private tour (if we can afford it) We think an overnight/overland is the only way to best use the time given. Otherwise you spend 3 hrs traveling to and from and thats almost a day!

If you click on Lars name, a little box with come up and you can send him a Private Message regarding his Tour Operator for the Private Tour. He is in Spain so he's 6 hours ahead of the East Coast US.

You are right that an overnight tour is the best option. I would like to to one next year instead of the day trip to Cairo. 6 hours driving is a lot for one day.

A private tour can work out cheaper if you get a group together.

I prefer private tours because it will be a smaller group and the experience will be more personal and you also get a better insight in the area you are visiting. The whole experience becomes so much richer and interesting.
