So far I don't know of any schedule where the Nieuw Amsterdam will be in New York.

No -- there are no itineraries where she will go to New York.

OK, maybe she never sail to new york.

A few years HAL tried sailing the Noordam out of New York -- but winter weather was so bad she had to skip ports when she got to the Caribbean. And then when she returned to New York -- more rough seas -- she arrived late. People missed flights and people were mad. Turned out to be a non-profit run by the time HAL paid for hotels and people to change air transportation.
