New York City

New York City is an extremely popular embarkation/disembarkation point for many cruises. It is one of the most popular tourist destinations in all the world and....my hometown.

I thought I would start a thread to highlight some of the great activities and excursions Cruise Line Fans can participate in during, before and after their cruises.

Do any cruisers out there have a favorite restaurant, theater, activity or sight seeing destination they want to share some advice on? Please feel free to include it here.

A great new site highlighting Free Events in NYC is FreeNYCâ„¢ - NYC's Premier Guide to Quality Free and Cheap Events

The New York City Cruise Terminals exist in Brooklyn and Manhattan. Easy parking for passengers and convenient embarkation and disembarkation processes make for an easy transition on and off the ship.

The NYC Cruise Terminal has a great web site found at New York Cruise, NYC Cruise Terminal

It has history, facts, some great pics, a calendar of ships and events, as well as full contact information and directions.
