Cruisers who parked their cars at the New Orleans pier

I don't know the cruise ship schedule out of NO, but imagine the poor people who left their cars at the pier.

OMG!!! Can you imagine those cruise reviews!!
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me! I want people to know why I look this way. I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.

The ships themselves can't even return to port. They will have to go to Tampa, or Galveston to even debark... Besides a really rough cruise, they will have to find their own way home from far off and probably never get their cars back... :thumbsdow

With the way it looks right now in NO.....they probably don't want their cars back. They have got to stop the flooding before they can even think about letting anyone in. It may be weeks or months.

Really no reason to get mad at the cruiseline. Sounds like they did the best they could to protect their passengers.

I agree Sue... It was such an awful storm and the destruction is - for lack of better terminology - awe inspiring.

I agree with everybody. But can you imagine how much "fun" (?) the people on the cruise are having knowing what awaits them if and when they ever get back.

These are the people you got to feel sorry for. How on earth can they be having a fun time on their cruise?
