I have sailed twice out of there and will be doing it again in January. I find it quite convenient not to have to go into NYC and pay twice the price.

Thanks for the report, Tony. I love hearing about good experiences at regional or secondary cruise terminals.

Lightbulb Another option to consider for getting to Cape Liberty (Bayonne, NJ)

Our DD's family (total of 4) will be sailing out of Bayonne next week for a Christmas/New Years cruise on Celebrity Silhoutte.

They found using a Limo from where they live in CT (close to NYC) was actually a bit less expensive (about the same with extra tips) than driving their own car and parking. The limo will pick them up at their house, take them to the cruise terminal ... and do the reverse upon their return. It's a nice relaxing way to begin and end a cruise.

When we took our TA, it ended up in New Jersey. We took a shared shuttle bus to NYC. Can't remember how much it was, but it was reasonable all considered. I like your idea, it makes it much more definitive of how and where - and I bet it is a lot cheaper than using the parking by the pier!
