Park/Stay/Cruise Hotel Cape Liberty NJ Port

I just booked a room at the Best Western Newark Airport for the night before our cruise. It was $155 a night and includes parking for up to 10 days, shuttle to and from the port in Bayonne and free continental breakfast. Will let you know my thoughts after I return on the 28th of this month....

Good for you!! It is such a relief to get that out of the way!! Sounds really good, you are lucky to find a shuttle both ways!!
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me! I want people to know why I look this way. I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.

    Newark Best Western

Here are my thoughts......hotel is in an industrial looking area with no stores or restaurants nearby. There is a small bar/restaurant in the hotel but it looked kind of dingy and the prices were pretty high for what they had (we had Dominoes pizza delivered). The room was huge and quite comfortable...it had an iron and ironing board, hair dryer, coffee maker, etc. The continental breakfast was good. There's a shuttle at 11 a.m. to take you to the pier and a shuttle waiting when you get off the ship. I believe the total including tax and baggage handling was about $180. Since it would have cost $105 to park at the pier I think that's a decent deal.
