    Navigator question

My 1st official questions here. Leaving on RCCL's Navigator in Nov.
Is there anything not to miss on this ship? I already know about Quest as I have seen it before when I sailed on the Majesty.
Is there a way to get on one of the 1st tenders if I have an excursion booked thru an outside tour guide?
What is the best time to show up at the port for checkin to be one of the first crazies on board as we will be spending the night before in Miami. Want to be able to get my full days worth of touring the ship.
Can't think of anyting else right now but sure I will find something soon enough

    Thanks,
    Dyanna

Usually you can board much earlier than the published time. You just can't get into your cabin until then.
    Quest is fun!
You can request an early tender ticket from the Pursers desk. They should accommodate you.
I've not been on the Navigator. I can't wait to hear about your experience!

Hi dyanna! Welcome to CLF! We are old neighbors - I grew up in Plainview.

I haven't been on Navigator, but until others show up with better info, I have 2 things for you:
1- Somewhere on the board is a thread for things not to miss on Mariner. Navigator was an improved version of the 3 earlier ships its size, and Mariner kept those improvements. So the two ships are almost identical, except some rooms may have different names.
2- You must find time to see the ice show! Yes, it's your opportunity to see an ice show on a ship, but they put on a phenomenal show. My husband was whistling! And the rink is not that big, so it even more amazing what they accomplish. And best of all, it's included in the price of your cabin. Woo HOO!
Good luck planning your cruise, and ask anything that comes to mind!

Thanks for the responses. Hope to read more.

MCcruiser. Hope you are enjoying the sun there as we are planning on getting 8 -12+ inches of snow Saturday evening into Sunday morning.

I usually get to the ship by 10:30-11 a,m. Mike is correct, they usually open the doors for checkin around noonish, and usally the cabin isn't ready, but you can still drop of your carryons in the cabin!!
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me! I want people to know why I look this way. I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.

I've always done that before (drop carryon's in the cabin) but this time for some unknown reason one of the steward had a conniption fit and ran us off! So ... we drug our stuff with us and went to the bar!

I wanted to. But my cohorts didn't want to bother. So I gave in and just lugged the carryons up to the pool bar.

Wow!! Really sorry to hear that!! It is all we can do to get the carryons that far!! We have all the valuables, medicine and stuff that can't be lost!! I would have been a little upset!!

Oh I was, but Bonnie tries to keep me calm! I do have high blood pressure and she doesn't like for me to blow my stack! I would have just barreled right on down to the cabin myself. Let them try to stop me!
