Itinerary Changes (Chris) Navigator and Explorer

    Tropical Weather Update
    August 1, 2006 -- 6:30 p.m.
Royal Caribbean International continues to closely monitor the path and progress of Tropical Storm Chris to ensure our guests enjoy safe and comfortable cruises, and to make certain our ships steer clear of the storm.

The safety of our guests and crew is always the foremost concern of Royal Caribbean International.

Given Tropical Storm Chris' location and projected path, Royal Caribbean is currently altering the itineraries of two ships.

Ships sailing from the Port of Miami
    • Navigator of the Seas will not make its scheduled port call in Philipsburg, St. Maarten, Wednesday. Instead, the ship will spend the day at sea. The ship will then make its port call in Nassau, Bahamas, on Thursday, one day earlier than scheduled.
    • Explorer of the Seas will not make its scheduled port calls in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Wednesday, or Labadee, Haiti, Thursday. Instead, the ship will spend the day at sea Wednesday and make a port call in Nassau, Bahamas, Thursday.
At this time, no other Royal Caribbean itineraries are being altered due to tropical weather. Royal Caribbean will continue to closely monitor weather conditions and update this information daily at 12:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.

Missing Labadee isn't a big deal at all. It's almost the same as a sea day, I think.
