Navigator of the Seas - 11/04/06

Anyone else on this sailing? We were on this ship last November -- same week -- same cabin. Loved it so much we booked it again.

Are they sailing western or eastern itinerary? How old are they? Are they partiers? More subdued?

I would tell them to definitely not miss the Love & Marriage show and absolutely, positively not to miss The Quest.

I would tell them that Cafe Promenade has light snacks (pizza, donuts, cookies), coffee, tea available most of the day/night. One of us would go there first thing in the morning and get something to hold us over until everyone had showered and was ready for breakfast.

If you have specific questions, I'll try to answer. Give me an idea what you would like to know. I think my pictures are posted in the gallery here.

Thank you, sweet angel! They're 25 and 22 years old, subdued -- not big drinkers or partiers. He's in dental school and she's a paralegal. They've been on one cruise before -- a short Sovereign. They're heading west. Thanks for the info!

We did the eastern itinerary, so I can't help with that. They will find a ton of things to do. We watched the sexy legs (men) contest by the pool, I learned how to make towel animals, etc.

The parades in the Promenade were cool to see. Love & Marriage and The Quest were hysterical.

If they plan on really dressing up for formal nights, it was neat to walk through the Promenade during the Captain's Cocktail Party sipping (free) champagne while wearing a gown. A cruise ship is probably the only time I'd get to do that...

I'm trying to think of things I wish I had known beforehand...

The stairs are often quicker than the elevators. That's all I can think of now!

Just to help you get really excited, go to the Cruise Gallery and click on Cruise Ships, Royal Caribbean, Freedom of the Seas. You'll see some neat pictures that Mike took yesterday in Miami of the FOS nose to nose with the Navigator.

Those are great! I can't let my son see them though because he's driving me crazy to go on Freedom or Liberty and they're just too expensive!!

Three weeks away and STILL no one is going? Hmmm...methinks I'm gonna have a lot of room to spread out!
