    MSC Statement Following Opera Collision

MSC Statement Following Opera Collision in Buenos Aires

    Wednesday, 30 March 2011
MSC Cruises has issue a statement following the MSC Opera colliding with what was apparently a buoy, while departing Buenos Aires last Friday, March 25.

Following the incident, the ship remained anchored for inspection, but was released, and did miss one call in Punta del Este, Uruguay.

MSC said there was no threatening damage to the ship in what appeared to be a minor mishap.
