Thread: Montego Bay

We will be visiting Montego Bay in OCT. Its my first time at that port. If you have any recommendations as to excursions or maybe a safe beach to visit. let me know. Ive been to Ochos Rios several times and hope to advoid the harassement that you encounter there ! Should i stay on the ship ?

A great place to spend the day is Sunset Beach Resort. Sunset
It costs $40 pp, but that includes food, drinks and water toys. We were there in Jan., going back in Nov. It is gated and fenced, no vendors to hassle you and about a $5 cab ride from the cruise ship terminal.

Here's another website with independent tours for Mo Bay. I've not used them, but I have heard good things about them.
