Reggierail: Like you said it would be hard to do both. I think the weather would be just a little warmer. There may be someone out there going in May. I will stop in and see your thread and what the conversation is all about.

Hi Cindy! We'll be joining you on the RT SF to Alaska. Quite a countdown, huh? This will be our 2nd cruise to Alaska, the previous one in 2005 on the Infinity. Can't wait!!! Love the RT from SF. In 2005 we docked at Vancouver, and took Amtrak home. That was still great! but this will be easier.

Sad news Globug...and of course after I started this thread...My DH and I have decided to board Millie a little earlier in Ft Lauderdale and go through the Panama Canal on April 20th and end up in SF on May 5th just in time for you to board ship for Alaska. We thought about doing a B2B but 4 weeks away from work might be a little much.

We just thought since we have yet to do a Panama sailing and the weather will be much warmer.

You will have a great time and we promise to keep Millie nice and clean for you!

Globug...there are many Cruise Critic site participants who do not know about CLF.
