US Customs and Border agents at the ports of Miami and Ft Lauderdale have instituted a Zero Tolerence drug policy and are apparently getting more thorough with searching.
OVER THE LABOR DAY WEEKEND:
In Miami, a cruise passenger found 'storing' marijuana an cocaine was turned over to Miami Dade police.
In Ft Lauderdale, five cruise passengers found to be carrying marijuana were turned over to the Broward County Sherrif.
There are stupid people everywhere. They are lucky to have been detained in the US instead of at a foreign port. That would have been a much more serious situation.
I just wonder what they mean by 'storing' the drugs. In a suitcase? A locker? A body cavity?

Miami has always been tough on drugs, even prescriptions from other countries where the drugs are not allowed in the US.
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me! I want people to know why I look this way. I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.
Most people walk into and out of your life . . . but FRIENDS leave footprints in your heart
