I've just looked at previous postss regarding parking other than the pier and all the posts that had links and only found parking for the airport.

I am wondering if anyone has found any place that does parking for the port without having to stay at a hotel.

We only live 2 1/2 to 3 hours from Miami and really don't want to spend a night there.

I have just found this place: United Airport Parking - Save Time & Money

and wonder if anyone has used or at least heard of them. It definitely would be less expensive that parking at the port.

I'm sorry I can't help you with any info. on this, as I live much closer to the port than you are, and relatives transport us to Miami when we cruise from there.
I plugged in some dates at this location, and those rates are great.

I've sent them an email asking about exact location since it doesn't give it to you until reservation has been made.

Wish we had some one who lived near the port to help us.

Just made a reservation using United Airport Parking for our cruise next week. Even after the taxes and service charge it does save money.

So I will report our experience when we get back.

Well we're back and the parking experience was not too bad. The lot has a large fence, it is in an area that mainly services the airport. With parking there for the port the shuttle leaves once an hour, so if you get there shortly after you have to wait (either in your car or outside). After you are on your way to the port they park your car. When you return you call and same the shuttle only comes once an hour. When you are back to the lot the driver brings your car out to you.

Not as nice as ParkN Fly in Ft Lauderdale, but better than driving in downtown Miami and paying what they charge to park at the port.

The ONE time we sailed out of Miami, we drove down that morning, and parked at the port.

This was NOT an easy in/out IMO. Very confusing area.

CBM Damaged our SUV when we left it parked with them and took a 4 day cruise. Picasa Web Albums - Mark - maria bmw damage

They also left us standing for 2+ hours waiting for pickup after the cruise. No less than 3 of their shuttles refused to take us to their car because we were not on their pickup list. There were other people waiting too. We finally had to take a taxi to their lot only to find our car damaged in two spots.

They have 12+ complaints unanswered with the BBB.

Here is how they responded:

We have investigated your complaint of alleged damages to your vehicle and have found no negligence nor liability on Cbm's part,although our Parking Contract clearly depicts the extend the limits of liability we investigate every single complaint.

Regarding your experience in the Port of Miami having to wait for such a long time,this is inexcusable and you had to also take a taxi to pick up your vehicle, you will be refunded $32.00 for the taxi aswe understand is what you have said to our counter rep and also a 15% discount off your parking parking charges.

I used them once several years ago with no complaints.

However. I will not use them again.

I read from someone on CC who lives in Miami that they have many complaints against them. In particular they have been accused of stealing good parts from your vehicle and putting in old parts. You may not be aware that this was done to your car until months later.

Seem you may be better off parking at the Port Of Miami and paying the $20 per day rate if you're going to end up paying far more to fix damages and replacing bad parts.
