He was there waiting for us when we disembarked. All passengers were handled by three shuttles within a few minutes. If there had been more passengers there would have been a ten minute wait for the shuttles to return- no big deal. We cruise every year and plan to use this great service every time we cruise out of Miami. Hope this helps: a retired school principal.

Thank you, Jim. I was told that the building in the picture was the parking area. This picture was taken from our balcony. As you can see, it is only a few blocks away.

I'm so glad you found success with United Parking and it's good to hear you've got some cruise travel booked this year.

Where are you headed? Please do feel free to share a cruise review, post some thoughts on your last cruise and simply use the board/community/site as you see fit.

    Welcome Jim!

    Parking in Miami

We just got back from our cruise from Miami, and used an offsite parking lot - www.portofmiamicruiseparking.com. We parked for 7 days, and it was $35. My husband dropped me off at the port with the luggage, and went and parked. He walked back, but said it was probably 2 miles from the lot to our ship (don't forget the ships are 1000' +), about 45 minutes. After our cruise we took a taxi, which our taxi cab driver not happy since it was only a couple of miles. It cost us $12 + we gave $3 tip. No problems with the parking lot, there was a few employees, but I cannot confirm how good the security is there.

Great info! We are looking for a place to park for this weekend, so I'll have to check some of these out.

I've used Premier Parking 3 times when cruising out of Miami. It's a lot cheaper than parking at the port and they give you a shuttle ride to and from the port. I would recommend parking there. Airport and Cruise Parking | Premier Parking USA

just back yesterday from POM and had used United parking. The lot we were at this time is very small and supposedly if no attendent then the gates are locked. It is right along side I395. The price was really good and they do have shuttle, only problem is that they only have one shuttle. Getting to the port was no problem but the pick up was. I ended up making 2 calls and because of the number of people they had to pick up it took almost an hour for him to get us. He was very nice but they do need to get another van. I will use United again.
