If you get a chance, this is a little south of Miami but there is great place to visit in Homestead FL. called the coral castle, very interesting.

We took a harbor cruise on the Heritage Schooner, a tall mast ship. http://www.heritageschooner.com/heritage.html Great tour. Lots of fun. Inexpensive, entertaining and unique.

Wow, some really good info here. Don't know how I missed it before. We will be doing a historical harbor tour, and I am interested in some of the Antebellum mansions that are now museums too. Thanks for the links.

I've heard of the Venetian Pool in Coral Gables and wondered if it's as pretty as it looks. Might be worth some time to visit here....can anyone that's been there tell me more?

I've been SCOURING the east coast departures board for info on what to do pre-cruise in Miami and today I decided to check this board and voila, everything I've been trying to find out is right here in one place.

Thanks to everyone!
