If you don't want to take a drive/cab to get a quick bite, you might want to try the local restaurants close to the hotel....they are all chain restaurants with decent food and good prices.

Ruth -- You could not get better info anywhere...MaiTaiMama compiled great information. My personal favorites in Miami are the Viscaya Museum. It's a typical early Florida mansion on the water and very beautiful. And the Bayside shopping area is a lot of fun.

This what I was hoping would happen....I put together the list but then everyone with personal stories/opinions would add comments that are helpful to travellers in planning their vacation.
And, forgot to add, I hope other people will also add favorite restaurants/bar/attractions, etc so that I can update the list.
