Thanks...I just want a plain ol' car so I don't have to wait for the RCI transfers.

Can't blame you there, they take sooo long!!![]()
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me! I want people to know why I look this way. I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.
I wasn't at all happy with the experience last year. Our flight was early, and the site said the shuttles started running I think 10 or 10:30. We figured we'd be on the first one (I think our flight got in at about 9:30). We were, but we had to wait until it filled up somewhat. I don't think we got out of the airport until closer to 11:30...AND...we had to walk with all our luggage to another terminal. Not fun when you've been up since 3 a.m.

Us too a few years ago. Had my handicapped daughter with me, and no one told us we had to get all the luggage and walk so far. Of course we hurried to keep up, then sat in the bus for over an hour before it filled to leave!! HOT!! Now I would just grab a cab and go if we had to fly!! We drive over now!!![]()

Another choice is for a pre and post stay if you get a hotel with a free shuttle, if the hotel doesn't have a return shuttle, Miami has busses at the pier to take you to the airport, and once there in the lobby, you can call the hotel to pick you up for free!!Also gives you a nine day vacation!!

No I haven't, since we moved here 7 years ago, we have drove over, we are within 200-300 miles to every port in Florida!! It takes 1 1/2 hours to Ft Lauderdale, and 2 hours to Miami cause of traffic!!

Hi if your flying in to Fort Lauderdale renting a car is pretty simple as you can rent
them cheaply from inside the terminal and this will give you a little more freedom than other neans of transportation. Driving down to miami is also pretty simple.
Have a great cruise
