We are starting to pack for our cruise next week (it's a busy week so about the only time we have) Karen asked me to ask this question of the women in the group. She wants to know if a denim skirt, a little above the knee, will be appropriate for the hike and tour around the Chacchoben ruins.

Yes, same as shorts!! Be sure she adds suntan lotion to her legs as well, it will be very hot, take enough water to drink!!

Only thing shorts will help more than a skirt, there are lots of stairs, and for those behind her, you??, may get a better view that the ruins!!

And low-heeled comfortable walking shoes.... preferably without open toes, definitely no heels!

Thanks everyone, the stairs etc. is what she was concerned about. We are experienced walkers/hikers and tourists so we pretty much know the other stuff.

Sue as far as the view goes, we've been together so long... well you get the picture.
OR I could have said something like what's the difference between that view and the ruins but if she found out I a smart a.. comment like that my body would be in ruins.
